- Betsy Lo, whose leadership ensured the event’s success.
Feedback & Impact (Betsy’s Report):
1. Teacher Training:
- Educators gained new insights into student emotional management, strengthening teacher-student relationships—a cornerstone of effective education.
2. Student Workshops:
- The confidence-building sessions revealed the students’ deep yearning for recognition and self-worth.
- Through group activities, peer affirmations, and self-expression, many children were lit up with surprise and emotion upon hearing their strengths acknowledged.
- While material aid is vital, emotional support and self-esteem development are equally crucial. It helped them recognize their potential to transform their outlook on life and learning.
3. Pre-Employment Workshop (April 18):
- Sponsored vocational students attended a "Pre-Work Preparation" session, equipping them to transition smoothly into the society and face workplace challenges.
4. Future Goals:
- The event has achieved encouraging results in both teacher development and student empowerment.
- We aim to expand this initiative to reach more teachers and students in Qujiang.
